Bahia is known for its cultural richness, paradisiacal landscapes, and its large historical heritage. However, the main destinations are the beautiful islands and beaches that take anyone’s breath away. One of the highlights is Boipeba Island, considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil.

How to Get to the Island
To reach the island and enjoy its various attractions, the most common way is to take a ferry from Salvador to Bom Despacho or Itaparica, followed by a bus or van to Valença, and finally a speedboat from Valença to Boipeba. There is also a faster way to get to the island, which is taking an air taxi from Salvador to a point near Boipeba.

In addition to enjoying several beaches that allow close contact with nature, such as Cueira, Tassimirim, Bainema, and Moreré, the island offers other types of tours, including private boat trips that take visitors to various beaches and natural pools, such as those of Bainema, Castelhanis, among others.
There is also an incredible immersion and contact with nature through kayaking visits to the white mangroves and observing the bioluminescence phenomenon of plankton; and for animal lovers, it is possible to take a boat trip to see humpback whales.
